WHOO HOO! WE HAVE OUR STUFF! So I have all my posters and stuff and my bed and I can't stick my posters up anyway because blutack is prohibited but I'm sure I'll think of something! Whoo! AND OUR COMPUTER! With games and stuff! AND BROADBAND GOT OFF OF ITS DEFECTIVE ARSE AND WORKS!

We got a digital tv channel reciever and a DVD player because our Aussie digital reciever only picks up Australian channels. This digital thing won't pick up channel 5, which is one of the basic channels. Go figure. Some of our Aussie DVDs don't work on the Pommy DVD player, like Peter Pan (Katrina's crushed) or The Man in the Iron Mask, or Muriel's Wedding. LotR and PotC and most of the good ones still work.

Um, how is everyone? Stressing about school, I suppose. I have a load of homework but I'm procrastinating.
I am the patron saint of procrastinators. I have to write an essay about myself for english, do some questions for french which I can't read and the teacher will probably go off her rocker if I don't do them (she was definately dropped on her head), and a maths assignment which I have no idea about, because I suck at rearranging equations. I always do them wrong and end up with the wrong answer because I added something in the wrong step, or didn't get rid of the brackets, or didn't feed the squirrels this morning. I need a set formula for algebraic equations or something. I'm going to have to cram them all in tomorrow because we're going to dad's friend's house in half an hour, and staying for dinnner, and then the adults are going to a comedy festival and we have to stay behind to babysit the 7, 5 and 3 year olds.

I finished the His Dark Materials trillogy last night/this morning. Anyone else read them? Good books. Kinda Tolkien-y in the way that he has all these magical concepts but talks about them like they're just normal and taken for granted. And a bit of Dan Brown-ness, hacking at the church. It connected a bit more, I think, because he's using familliar 21st century things and sticking these weird magic things in, so the magic things seem more credible, or something. I don't know, they're just good books.

I really don't like french. Or maths with the stuff we should have been taught but weren't, so I feel stupid. I hate feeling stupid. Stupid Miss Cheah.

*whines* I WANNA SEE PHANTOM! And we don't have our video of Joseph. Or Cats, either. I like that one, that was good. In fact, Andrew Lloyd Webber in general is good. We've got a bunch of CDs, the Lloyd Webber collection or something, so we can listen to those.

Oh well, of to babysit. I'll just take Unfinished Tales and finish that. I've been really slack with that book, I still haven't finished it. *slaps on wrist* Bad llama!
