I started reading The Book of Lost Tales. It's making my brain hurt! It's going "The Noldor are called Gnomes and the Sindarin are called Fairies and I don't even know WHAT the those elves who lived on Tol Eressea are called, and I'm not even sure what they are anymore because I think the Noldor are living on Tol Eressea now, and Tol Eressea is now England instead, and Middle Earth is some other part of Europe, and there's this random species that's, like, half hobbit and half elf or something living in this weird little house with a million kids, and Melkor is called 'Melko', and Fingolfin was called something different, and-" Hey, there's this place called Kor. With one of them little triangle thingies over the O. What is it? They keep going on about it, so they might have already said, and I would have missed it because IT'S MAKING ME CONFUSED. And is this stuff going on before or after the Third Age? I thought it was going to be in the Turin, Beren, sort of time frame, but I get the impression that it's after that, sometimes. Gah! Help me! I thought that I sort of had this history stuff worked out, but now it's MESSING WITH MY HEAD.
