Jul. 26th, 2007 12:27 amOur fence fell down. Thankfully, not onto the car. The base was all damp and weakened and had holes in, so it collapsed at the first sign of strong wind yesterday. Nan and Pop came up so Pop could temporarily bolt it back together and prop it up with stakes. We're standing outside holding it up, and Pop begins drilling so that dust flies into the air, and Mum says "Don't breathe; it's asbestos." At first I thought she was joking. My reaction to the news that she was serious was basically O_o. Very convenient, the fence falling down now, considering Mum's going to Russia tomorrow. She rang every fence company in the Yellow Pages and the earliest we can get a quote is in two weeks.
I wonder if there's anything good on at the theatre. Ooo, I hope Spamalot comes to Perth soon.
