Sep. 2nd, 2010 08:24 pmTomorrow When The War Began: actually pretty damn good. The scenes where they're trying not to be spotted by soldiers and die were genuinely suspenseful, and the explosions were cool, although at least one of them was a bit ludicrous. Homer is my favourite actor, closely followed by Kevin; they all had a few clunky lines but everyone did a fairly good job. I hope they get to do the next two, like they're planning to.
...Oh, fridge logic. The particular ludicrous explosion I was thinking of involved a dune-buggy-vehicle thing with a machine gun strapped to the front. I was thinking "That car looks like an aluminium walking frame with an engine. Why would it dramatically detonate like it's a barrel of gunpowder OH WAIT." Ignore me, I have the dumb.
