Feb. 6th, 2005 12:45 amWe have broadband! Hooray!
Although it comes with limited downloads. What stupid person came up with the idea for limited downloads, anyway? Merg. So now I'll always be worried about how close we are to our download limit.
The girls went out today to get their sports uniforms. I stayed behind because I don't need a sports uniform. Because I don't do sport. Ha-ha! So I installed the broadband thing and watched TV and did a bit more on the screencaps for Van Helsing in Fifteen Minutes. It's fun. ANd I read a bit more of Deception Point which Mum bought for me. How nice of her!
Hey, is that John Cleese on TV? Hi, John Cleese!
http://www.livejournal.com/community/ohnotheydidnt/529317.html?view=57255845&style=mine linkage to pics from the new Charlie and the Chocolate factory! Good news: Christopher Lee is in it! Bad News: He plays Willy Wonka's FATHER. Have these people read the book at all? And the Oompa Loompas still look like Hobbits gone through a demented paint factory. *sigh* Why is it that we get the feeling that we could do a better job of planning the movie than these professionals? Or is that just me?
