Feb. 21st, 2005 03:58 amStill not finished unfinished tales. Or my homework. Leave me alone.
Got Monty Python's Flying Circus Best Of DVD set thing. Three DVDs and one DVD of a live performance. There was a deal on; get three DVDs for twenty pounds, and we were going to get life of Brian and Mask of Zorro, and then we couldn't find a third one because parents wouldn't let us get Meaning of Life and we couldn't find Holy Grail, so we got Flying Circus instead. ANd I get the feeling Circus should have another 'i' in there, somewhere. Oh, well. Yeah, it had Spam and the Spanish Inquisiton. And the Freemason thing. What's the general talk about Freemasons? I know the Dan Brown factual thing, but I get the impression that not everyone thinks of the Freemasons that way. Like on the Simpsons, they had the Stonecutters.
Babysitting last night wasn't so bad. They gave us pizza for dinner, and I ate a piece, even though I don't really like pizza, but there was heaps of meat on top, so it mainly tasted like meat and bread with a bit of sauce. And then they went out, and the two older kids chose to watch 'Matilda', and the littlest kid kept falling asleep but woke up whenever we tried to carry him to bed, so we sent them all to bed, and then finished watching Matilda and then watched Monsters Inc and then the parents came home and gave us each five pounds for babysitting. We protested, of course, but... Well, I protested, but they insisted, so we took the cash. And it snowed yesterday and today. According to our next door neighbour we'll be able to make snow angels this week!
Panic Room is on tonight, might watch it. Unless we watch Deizel and Pascoe, which we haven't seen.
Katrina's bitching at me because she wants to play the Sims, so I'd better get off. At some point.

Date: 2005-02-20 07:24 pm (UTC)The Catholic Church hated them. Thought they were servants of Satan, or something. Ever seen "From Hell"? Bilbo's in it, and it's got some Masons.

Date: 2005-02-21 08:22 am (UTC)Ooh! Bilbo! He's been in heaps of things, he played Polonius in Hamlet with Crazy Mel Gibson. He played some scientist guy in The Day After Tomorrow, and we don't even remember his characters name, we just called him Doctor Bilbo. I'd better see that movie, now.
