Aug. 6th, 2007 09:15 pmFirst day back at Uni. Wheee. We had our first actual Chiropractic unit, and our practical. It involved prodding one another's bums in search of specific bones. It was rather embarassing. We are henceforth expected to turn up in swimming costumes, preferably bikinis for the ladies. A frantic search unearthed a swimsuit that still fits and isn't too un-flattering. Emergency waxing is also in order. And we have to bring a whiteboard texta so that we can draw on one another. The grumpy and shouty lab instructor person made it clear that anyone turning up without the proper atire and/or equipment shall suffer his wrath. He also mentioned something about smashing any mobile phones that ring in his class against the wall, and, if anyone was found using a phone in his class, not bothering to detach their hand from the phone beforehand.

Date: 2007-08-08 04:02 pm (UTC)I had a physics professor--a decent guy, but the class was at 3 PM and I'd occasionally drift off. In the second row of a lecture hall where he could see me. The OTHER complication of this professor is unfortunately my cell phone rang twice over the course of a semester while in class. He stopped class and glared at me, in front of 350 people. The best part is--
Twice HIS cell phone rang during class. He looked pretty embarrassed and didn't penalize students after that.

I hope that happens to our teacher. Then we can take turns throwing his mobile against the wall.
