So, Uther is king of Camelot and his son Arthur is the town's Rich Bullying Bastard, and he's maybe a bit older than Merlin? It's hard to tell. And Guinevere is Morgana's lady's maid, and Morgana is Uther's ward. And Guin is going to be the writers' shiptease of choice, but we all know that any relationship between anyone who is not Merlin or Arthur will be totally ignored and the reams of slash are being written as we speak.
