TOMORROW WHEN THE WAR BEGAN: THE MOVIE.
This is going to be so. awesome. If you've not read these books- I'm looking at you, non-Aussies- track down at least the first one and give it a look before the movie comes out. Growing up, I was in love with these books. We read the first one in English in year 8, and within a month there was a mile-long waiting list at the library for the other six in the series. I got in early, being a quick reader *smug*. I wonder if the Leeming High School libraray still have that hardcover copy of book 7 that's signed by John Marsden.
Hey, Corrie is Wendy from that Peter Pan movie with Jason Issacs! And the screenplay and direction are by the same guy who did Pirates of the Carribean! Yay, let's start playing Degrees of Separation!

Date: 2010-01-23 06:08 pm (UTC)Homer's a lot better-looking than I was expecting. I never pictured any of the characters as stunningly good-looking, but damn. I thought I remembered Fi being blonde, but meh. And Robyn is dead-on how I pictured her.
ETA: Huh, turns out Fi is blonde after all (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjV8omPt2kQ).
