I'm sulking. I'm not allowed to go see Aladdin with Ian McKellen in it. I'm also writing a parody of the Bashki Lord of the Rings in my spare time, which I have lots of. It's really easy because 1) I'm bitter and sarcastic and 2) there's so much to make fun of. Once I get anywhere I'll let youse all know.
And I might be going to the movies to see Phantom today. That's all.
Oh, and if you Aussies wanted to call my mobile, apparently you have to dial 44, and THEN dial my number. I still don't know how the landline phone works. THAT'S all. Yeah.

How can you write a parody of Bakshi? It's like a parody in and of itself. Truly one of the most awful things ever made. Except for the Rankin-Bass version of RoTK. Everyone involved in that travesty needs to be shot.
Pity about the lack of McKellan.

Naw, you could tell, most of the time, that Bashki was taking himself seriously. Sometimes there was doubt, but most of the time I think he thought it stood a chance of being good.
I've not seen the Rankin-Bass RotK. What does it look like?

It looks like Hell. Seriously. They made RoTK into a musical, there was no mention of the Fellowship, or Boromir, or Faramir, and Gandalf was some kind of depressed prophet of Doom. It was horrible.

BWAHAHA!!! How can the story even be CARRIED with no mention of the fellowship or the Gondor brothers? I can see it being a musical; the book was practically a musical. But still.
