I finished The Twelfth Card at lunch. Very good, incredibly Jeffery Deaver. More twists than a Slinky. And the end made me very very happy so that about five people in the room asked why I was grinning. If he doesn't continue it, though, I'm gonna be very very sad.

Having only four subjects is fun. You get time off, and you get heaps less homework. In year twelve the teachers are a lot more sociable, too. Maybe because we don't all look like uniformed clones. Maybe because there are a lot less in the class. I'm so glad that I'm going back to Australia, though. Heh, I won't even have to do the mock exams! I want to go to university. I want to have my own house or apartment, or share with other students, or something. Boarding will be good, that way. Except that I'll be able to WATCH TV ON WEEKDAYS, THANK YOU MUCHLY. But I'm not completely itching to be out of here, because I'm still enjoying learning the stuff that I'm learning. I think I'm just looking forward to it as something new and different. I don't know if I'll stay in Australia for uni, or go to somewhere in England. Or maybe I'll take a year off... nah, I think that if I take time off, I'll do it after uni. Go 'round Europe. Or do a walkabout tour like Locke was going to do! That'd be fun.

E.T.A: Ooo, the 22nd of September is actually a Thursday this year! I'm baking a cake.

You'll be in University next year, is it? If so, stay in England. We might end up going to the same school, even, and wouldn't that be brillant?

I would bake a cake, except I don't really have access to a kitchen. I'm just going to get a muffin or something and put two candles in it, one for Bilbo and one for Frodo.

Nooo, next year I'll be in Australia for boarding school, and the year after that, I'll be going to uni.
You're going to school in England next year? When did that happen?
